Private Practice Advisory
I occasionally work with a small number of established clinicians or practice owners at different stages of building their practice, who are navigating complex business decisions.
Clinicians come to me because something in their practice isn’t sitting right anymore- even if, on the surface, things look like they’re working.'
They’re getting referrals, but it’s inconsistent.
They’re full, but it feels unsustainable.
They’ve built something, but aren’t sure what to do next.
This work is about stepping back and looking at the structure underneath the practice, not just what’s happening day to day, but why it’s happening.
This work is not coaching, supervision, or a course. It is structured, strategic, decision support grounded in my experience building and running a multi-seven-figure virtual practice.
Advisory relationships are typically short-term and focused on specific strategic questions related to practice structure, growth, or operational decisions.
Because capacity is limited, most advisory relationships begin through referral or direct inquiry.
This is a different level of work.
It’s for clinicians who are already established- often full, or running a group practice- and are trying to make a more significant decision about what comes next. Usually, by this point, the questions are less about marketing or systems, and more about structure.
This is for clinicians who are:
Finding the right support for your practice is important so here are the ways you can access Private Practice Advisory.
Practice Review and Strategy Session
A focused, in-depth review of your practice with clear direction on what needs to change, simplify, or strengthen.
Decision Intensive
One month engagement with diagnostics, decision-making and implementation, and clear next steps.
Three-Month Advisory
This is where the advisory shifts from a one-time decision to a more structured process of assessment, decision, and adjustment.
Private Practice Advisory
You feel like you've tried everything, but growth feels stagnant, or maybe even intimidating. The Private Practice Advisory is designed to create actions that align with your practice and feel authentic to your vision. No more following trends, stressing over analytics, or feeling like there's a barrier between you and those you want to support.

What this work focuses on
Things like:
Targeted Resource Access
Based on your needs, you will also receive selected resources from my existing materials, which may include:
You are not given everything, only what is relevant to your specific situation to ensure you are not starting from scratch or searching for information elsewhere. It's easy to be overwhelmed by every step and action so these resources create a clear, concise framework to start building.
Practice Review & Strategy Session
This is where most people start.
A focused, in-depth review of your practice with clear direction on what needs to change, simplify, or strengthen.
This is a one-time working session designed to help you understand what is not working and why.
Before we meet
You’ll complete a short but structured intake so I can understand how your practice is currently set up.
Things like:
You can also share your website or social platforms if that’s part of the picture, so that I can review all of this ahead of time. This allows us to use the time well and go straight into the parts that matter.
2-Hour Strategy Session
We’ll usually start by identifying the main pressure point in your practice. Not all of them, just the one that’s actually driving the rest.
From there, we look at:
Most of the work is clarifying what’s already there, and then simplifying it.
After
You’ll receive a short written summary of:
If it’s relevant, I’ll also share selected resources from my existing materials- things like scripts, content structure, sections from my internal clinician handbook, or systems.

You’re seeing clients. You’ve tried a number of things. But there’s still a sense that something isn’t quite working the way it should.

Private Practice Advisory: Three-Month Advisory
Some decisions don’t resolve in a single conversation. Not because they’re unclear, but because they involve multiple layers that need to be worked through in sequence.
This is where the advisory shifts from a one-time decision to a more structured process of assessment, decision, and adjustment.
This is typically more appropriate when:
We work together over three months, with one focused session each month.
Month 1 — Clarity and Direction
Identify the core constraint and determine what actually needs to change.
Month 2 — Decision and Adjustment
Review what has shifted, refine decisions, and adjust based on real outcomes.
Month 3 — Stabilization
Solidify changes and ensure the structure is sustainable.

I'm Heather Ratych
I’m a Registered Social Worker and the Founder and Clinical Director of Bloom Psychotherapy.
Bloom is a Canada-wide virtual practice with more than 15 clinicians. It’s been built over several years through a series of decisions around structure, growth, and sustainability- many of the same ones clinicians find themselves facing at some point.
This work comes out of that experience.
