Natasha Longmire, BHSC, MSc, MEd
NATASHA'S QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Natasha is passionate about seeing people flourish in their lives. She believes that relationship is at the heart of good therapy, and seeks to provide a safe space for clients to process life challenges. She understands that motherhood is a unique, beautiful, and challenging time of transition for many individuals. Natasha’s own journey into motherhood and personal experiences with infertility and birth trauma led to her specialization in maternal mental health. She supports women and men who are experiencing infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, birth
trauma, and postpartum anxiety or depression. Natasha is also passionate about supporting couples as they navigate the ups and downs that come with parenthood and relationship transitions.
Natasha uses an integrative therapeutic approach in her practice, including but not limited to, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and attachment-based therapy. Natasha has spent the past 12 years in the field of health care, focusing on global health initiatives, international health policy, patient-reported outcomes, and psychotherapy. She earned her MSc at the London School of Economics, and her MEd in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto OISE. Natasha is a Registered
Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has completed specialized training in Complex Trauma and EFT for couples. Natasha holds the belief that people are resilient and hardwired for connection in this world. It would be an absolute privilege to support you along your healing journey.
